UK Tekla Awards 2024

The UK Tekla Awards is back for 2024 celebrating the achievements of our talented customers. We welcome projects of all sizes that show how our BIM tools have aided collaboration and innovation.

The schedule

The schedule

Submission closed on Friday 12th of April 2024. All competing projects have been published on our website. The voting period in which the public can choose their favourite project closed on Friday 31st May. Judging of the category winners has been completed and was announced along with the most popular project as voted by the public on Monday 3rd June. The winner’s celebratory activity will be held on Monday 6th September. All winners will also be entered into the Tekla Global BIM Awards, which will take place in Autumn 2024.

Category winners

The winners of each category will be invited to join us for a celebratory activity where you will enjoy networking with other award winners and spending time with our technical teams, working on team building activities, a surprise competition and, of course, delicious food. Each winner will also receive an engraved trophy and a framed certificate.

Admission to the Global Awards

Winners of the UK Tekla Awards will automatically qualify for the next Tekla Global BIM Awards. What do the winners of the Global Awards receive? Find out more at tekla.com/bim-awards

The judging criteria

Projects are evaluated based on the following criteria

Use of BIM and collaboration

Model life cycle, collaboration between multiple participants, use of IFC files, other Trimble products and/or open BIM interoperability.

Innovative use of Tekla software

Challenges solved with Tekla and innovative ways of utilising BIM, perhaps a multi-material aspect or geometry complexity.

Have you used our Tekla Warehouse content?

Were the tools already available that helped with your project or did you write your own API to solve problems you were faced with?

Environmental benefits

Did your project factor in any specific energy savings, waste reduction, logistics or other sustainability factors?

Cool factor

Impressiveness, uniqueness, and creativity of project execution.
