DEWA’s Solar Innovation Centre stands as a global focal point for sustainable energy initiatives, situated within the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, the world's largest single-site solar park. As a LEED-platinum-certified structure, it underscores Dubai's commitment to green advancements.
Managed by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), the Innovation Centre boasts over 35 interactive exhibits, inviting visitors of all ages to delve into renewable energy sources. Aligning with Dubai's Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and Net Zero Emissions Strategy 2050, the centre aims for 100% clean energy production capacity.
Visitors can explore the evolution of energy generation, solar power technology, and the future of energy applications. The venue also offers hologram shows, autonomous bus rides, and hosts events, seminars, and workshops. Featuring an 85m spire, the solar park's award-winning design draws inspiration from Islamic art's 'divine geometry,' visible from the expansive Al Qudra Cycle Track.
