PGESCo is performing the engineering Services for the simple cycle which substantially covers the scope required for Balance of Plant scope including but not limited to detail design of all Balance of Plant Systems, Civil designs, Support to Procurement, Construction Management and Startup.
The project is part of the Fast track program to support summer 2015.
Scope Description:
1- Eight (8) CTGs , GE (PG 9171E) Dual Fired Gas Turbine Generator Equipment Package. With all required Balance of plant systems.
2- The plant is planned to be operated through Heavy fuel oil (Mazout) as main fuel and Light fuel oil (Solar) as secondary fuel.
3- Power generated will be stepped up through main transformers and fed to the utility 220 kV grid, via gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) switchyard.
4- The plant will utilize the ground water as source of water.
5- Major Plant commodities/ systems:
– Power Block (Gas Turbine, Generator and Auxiliaries).
– Balance of Plant (Transformers, Switchgears, Diesel Generator, Aux. Boiler, DCS and Balance of Mechanical / Electrical systems).
– 220 kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS).
– Heavy Fuel Oil Treatment Plant.
– Fuel Tank Farm.
– Water Treatment Plant.
