The New Exhibition and Convention Centre in Bahrain is an ambitious project spanning 309,000 sqm of land. The centerpiece is a 149,000 sqm main building, featuring 10 expansive exhibition halls covering 95,000 sqm. Designed to accommodate diverse events, the facility includes a dedicated space for retail and events, a grand hall, and 27 versatile conference/meeting rooms of various sizes. This state-of-the-art venue aims to position Bahrain as a regional hub for exhibitions, conferences, and events, fostering economic and cultural exchanges.Â
With its comprehensive infrastructure and flexible spaces, the New Exhibition and Convention Centre promises to be a dynamic focal point for hosting a wide range of activities and contributing to the growth of the local and regional event industry.
The project had several structures with a total weight of 15,000 MT modeled in Tekla out of which the conventional center was the only Hot-rolled structure with exposed steel.
The architecturally elegant structure had a 60M clear-span entrance.
This structure was erected successfully with the zero erections issues at site.
