The Project consists of many buildings and all of them are made from steel and the most important buildings are the Terminal building, Pier building and fixed bridge, the Terminal building contains 88 Palm trees that are made from steel pipes with huge number of members and all of these members have to be welded together so no bolted connections were accepted, therefore we have needed to make coping and notching to all pipes in order to weld them, so we have decided to buy a special CNC machine that can make these kind of coping automatically and fortunately it was compatible with exported DSTV files from Tekla software (HGG connections).
Therefore we have reduced the time and errors of fabrication considerably.Â
