Arada’s next phase of Madar is a popular family entertainment district situated at the Aljada megaproject in Sharjah. Since its opening in February 2020, Madar has attracted 2 million visitors with its diverse attractions and culinary offerings set amidst lush greenery.
This phase will introduce a fully equipped health and fitness club, a trampoline park, an extension to the existing skatepark, additional parking, and 460,000 square feet of parkland. Designed to offer active, healthy lifestyles, the health club, spanning over 110,000 square feet, will cater to both men and women with world-class facilities.
Scheduled for completion by September 2022, the second phase underscores Arada's commitment to enhancing the leisure and recreational landscape of the UAE. Led by Zaha Hadid Architects, Madar at Aljada is a flagship leisure complex within Sharjah's largest megaproject, Aljada, offering a multifaceted urban environment encompassing residential, commercial, and recreational elements within a green master plan.
All the four areas of oval shaped steel structures are resting on concrete column modeled in Tekla
Due to the complexity of the GRC sheeting and its supporting beam and secondary connections, modeling the entire structure in Tekla was the most effective solution for this project.
Coordination with the panel & MEP suppliers was very challenging and necessary for this specialized project.
