Biosphere

Commercial building. This project's special features are its curved roof shape, timber frame, and mixed wood/aluminum brise soleil cladding.

Challenges to meet

Design, manufacture, and assembly of a curved glass envelope
Design, manufacture, and assembly of wooden sunshades

Use of Trimble BIM solutions for:

Coordination of the various lots, structural work, and carpentry. IFC exchanges.
3D modeling of reconstructed welded sections (PRS). 
Simultaneous work by several collaborators via Tekla Model Sharing.
