MOVE RELATIVE: Often, beams at varying angles need to be offset, extended, or shortened. The need to change the work plane for every beam can take a long time, especially on curved or angled walls where every beam is different. Move Relative allows small beam adjustments to be made quickly and accurately with minimal need to change work planes. We make use of the Extend Start and Extend End features most often, allowing beam ends to be extended or shortened to line up with existing model objects in a single click.
MOVE ABSOLUTE: This has two dialogs - one for beams and another for contour objects (slabs/plates). The Beam dialog allows the start and end points to be explicitly located and allows minuscule errors to be found and fixed (even .01mm, which the current move dialog cannot do). This is great for correcting levels, as well as making sure node points are all exactly on the grid. The Contour dialog allows each node to be explicitly located, meaning decimal values can be rounded to make sure slabs are drawn exactly on the grid without minor errors, which can appear when using third-party .dwg as a reference model.
