Glass factory for the European leader and the world’s third largest producer of glass packaging for beverages and food products, Verallia, famous for redefining the way glass is manufactured, reused, and recycled to make it the most sustainable packaging material in the world.
The project contains the steelwork for sustaining the silos and filters and all the interior equipment, redecorating the existing platforms and adapting them to the new purpose and outside gallery, which is used to support the conveyors and maintenance.
The existing factory was also implemented and modeled in Tekla based on the 3D scans. Thanks to this technology, we were able to design all the steel structures, avoiding any collisions with the existing one. It was also helpful for planning the assembly process.
