iModel was contacted to supply structural steel drawings for the Stair Screen of this structure as the contractor of the Main Structure would not accept or continue the work for this specific area. This is a noteworthy project as this has gone through more than 10x of design revisions.
The Architect and Engineer resigned as the design became too intricate and complicated. Simple as it may look. the amount of work put into from the design stage to detailing and fabrication side of it made this project one of the most special projects iModel has worked on to date. This structure is located at the heart of Queenstown, New Zealand. The character of the structure blends well with the scenic view of Queenstown, where the Stair Screen on both sides of the structure becomes the focal point of the street block of the vicinity.
