Project description
Hospital with maternity home placed in Kommunarka village is the first multidisciplinary hospital in the region to provide a full range of specialized medical care. The facility construction will provide fully-fledged high-tech medical assistance on a fundamentally new level and cover the need for infrastructure for the next 40-50 years. Â
Land area - 13.51 hectares.Â
The total area is 158,000 m2.Â
The complex contains 9 buildings for the provision of inpatient and outpatient care, including an ambulance substation, a polyclinic for 1,000 visits per shift, a helicopter pad and engineering support facilities.Â
Project features
Facilities design conducted simultaneously with construction and installation works, which complicates the process of interaction with related specialists and changes the order of documentation development, which requires a number of changes.
Results
Unified modeling standards and regulations for the design department developed at the stage of project planning, During the implementation of the project, an internal data library was created based on the developed standard solutions: custom components (wall reinforcement, spatial and flat frames), joints and settings to optimize the design process. The process of interaction with related specialists working in other software complexes was optimized with the help of HoleReservationManager; automatic task scheduler - BIM Publisher, tool for tracking changes in reference models. Founded solutions allowed the exclusion of errors and routine operations from the process of interdisciplinary interaction.
The developed model, in particular, stores data on punched and amplified holes, which eliminates waiting for the results of the executive survey and to make prompt changes without delaying the construction process. Parallel work with related specialists within the framework of the implemented solution made it possible to exclude the shortcomings of the project documentation arising in the process of interdisciplinary interaction and avoid the subsequent correction of errors.
Advantages of BIM technologies
The main and undeniable advantages of using Tekla Structures are unlimited possibilities for automation and speeding up the design process. Flexible editors of templates and components make it possible to create various automated modeling and drawing tools. Within the framework of the company's flexible OpenBIM concept, Tekla Structures occupies a key position in our technological design chain. Successes of Tekla Structures make our team successful in the project market of Russia.
Automated intellectual check of objects on collisions in current projects made it possible to pass the validation phase six times faster than if this work was done manually. In the projects of WERFAU, automation allows you to find and report on all errors to the head designer in about half a day, while searching for 85% of errors manually would take about three days.
