Project Overview:
Hospitals are the most complex structures, comprising wide variety of services and functional units; which should be constructed in accident zones. This project reveals a composite symmetrical structure, means both concrete and steel elements, while slabs and footings are RCC structure. The structure is designed as per IS456 and IS800. The capacity of the structure is 500 to 600 beds. The structure is designed in such a way for natural ventilation of air and lighting. In this project bolted connection are preferably used because of easier maintenance. Open parking systems can be constructed.
The basic form of the hospital is:
- Bed related inpatient function     Â
- Outpatient-related function      Â
- Diagnostic and treatment function       Â
- Administrative function
- Research and teaching function
All these facilities shall be constructed as per Indian standards.
