This project involves one of Asia's biggest manufacturing unit of solar panels. It is spread over 252 meters in width and 213 meters in length containing 10,000 metric tons of steel.

Out of the many challenges faced in this massive project, coordination and communication between customer and vendor was a daunting task.
Benefits of using Tekla
Tekla Structures’ features enabled the project team to split the large project into pieces without any discrepancies.
Exporting files from Tekla was smooth allowing the project team to export to IFC and merge it to the architectural model, piping, and electrical models to avoid clashing before it goes to the site. After completing partially, the team exported it to SP3D allowing the customer to import it to SP3D software and look into remaining buildings and piping structure, etc.
Takeaway
Due to the user interface, the project team has called Tekla Structures as the best software to use in steel and PEB structures.
