Mornaguia Power Plant project

All the civil structures of the power plant, foundations and elevation in concrete, steel structure, masonry, underground system and finishing, were modeled and drawn by Tekla.

 

What were the challenges and what made the project successful?

The challenge for the project was to start during modeling with Tekla and to continue for all the design. The construction time was reduced and there were no problems during construction. ALl quantities were checked during the design phase and there were no financial surprises, apart from a 5% saving on the total cost.

 

Project in numbers

  • 60.000 m2 total surface of the plant
  • 1.300 tons of steel structure
