New Educational Pavilion - "Enzo Ferrari" Engineering Campus in Modena

Completing the new campus gateway entry zone

The project is special from a technological point of view, given the presence of custom post tensioning systems with crossed cables to support the 2-floor cantilevered area of about 500sq.m. that houses the most prestigious university lecture hall by completing the new campus gateway entry zone.

 

Challenges

The main challenge of this project lay in the structural resolution of the cantilevered portion with a post tensioned cable system. BIM and Tekla brought complete control of the geometries even in joints of great complexity and with a high architectonic value, of which we are very proud.
