New grain processing center
Milling Hub is a company whose purpose is to build and manage mill plants at the Ocrim headquarters in Riglio, Cremona.
The new grain processing center in the project is made up of three statically independent elevation structures: the mill, the wheat cell and the flour cell. Due to the high loads transmitted by the structures in elevation and the poor mechanical characteristics of the base soil, deep foundations are made using hollow beaten posts in centrifuged reinforced concrete with a diameter of 500-600 mm and a length ranging from 11 meters to 13.5 meters. The poles are all connected by means of a dense network of beams.
