As part of the reconstruction and expansion of the premises of Skála & Vít, a new meeting room and a steel staircase were built.
All structural and interior designs were made in cooperation with Mr. Ing. arch. Pošepný from the architectural studio Adip. The task for the architect was to design the structure in such a way that it would present as much as possible what we do. That is steel structures.
Kovo Kulda carried out the realization of the steel structures. Roofing and interiors were done by Jordán 99.
The load-bearing structure of the meeting room consists of beams welded from three types of profiles. Sheet metal, rectangular sections, and circular bars. The shape of the structure is based on an ellipse.
The railings on the staircase are stainless steel mesh, which we have worked up to production documentation for the contractor.
Interestingly, all the steel ceiling surfaces are only blasted and painted with a clear coat. No pigment coating was used.
