This is a project of a new football stadium in the construction phase with partial reconstruction of the existing stadium. The new football stadium will be located on the site of the current stadium FC DAC and its construction started in the spring of 2016 with the first phase (stands B and C) and the entire complex should be finished in 2018. The first phase is currently finished. The construction work on the second stage is underway.
The total capacity is 13,000 spectators. DAC arena will meet UEFA regulations for fourth category stadiums. The main structure of the stands and the main building consists of prefabricated reinforced concrete structures, construction of roof, facade and secondary structures are designed of steel elements. The length of stand C is 122.4 m and stand B is 82 m with a width of 18.45 m. To create a global static model, we used the Scia Engineer where models were created for the static design and design review. As part of the analysis in Scia Engineer, in addition to normative loads and effects, we also checked dynamic effects, fire resistance and overall behavior of the structure. Afterwards we created the detailed design of the reinforcement of concrete elements and reviewed them for both limit states. Steel components have been checked for both limit states too. The workshop documentation was created in Allplan and Tekla Structures software.
