The aim of the engineering graduation project was to design a steel housing estate sports hall with dimensions in the axes 25×45 meters, facilities 8×25 meters, and an auditorium for 100 people.
The project consists of a theoretical part, a calculation part, and a drawing part. The facility was designed in accordance with its intended purpose – as a housing estate sports hall. The auditorium was designed as a fold-out tribune. The scope of the project includes static calculations of individual elements of the structure. The limit states for chosen structural elements were also checked. The dimensioning of the elements were made in accordance with European standards using a manual method as well as a computer – assisted method with the use of specialized software. The project also included a drawing part containing projections, sections, assembly diagrams, workshop drawings, and assembly details.
