The bridge is located on the D35 highway, section Sadová – Plotiště, which is considered the primary northern connection between the regions of Bohemia and Moravia.
Structure SO202 is a frame bridge with pile foundations. There are two other similar bridges on this part of the D35 (Sadová – Plotiště), which differ mostly in span and width. To simplify the work on all similar objects, we have created a parametric model of the bridge, which includes all the reinforcement. The reinforcement is derived from the bridge shape. Therefore, when the structure is changed, its shape changes as well. So, when the input parameters are changed, the bridge shape and all the reinforcements are recalculated. The structure is fully parametric.
With the parametrization, we can create all similar bridges on this section of highway very quickly and efficiently coordinate each bridge with other structures. Furthermore, we can immediately do a cost estimation (steel and concrete parts).
