The project consists of technological bridges and towers in area of a cement plant. Designed steel structures provide the transport of the clinker from the clinker cooler to the silo of the alternative clinker, and to the circular storage of clinker by technological conveyors. The project was based on the executive project. The model had to take into account the production, transport and assembly requirements such as the dimension under the bridge, etc. During the modelling, IFC and Tekla BIMsight models were used to optimize the size of transport units.
Special challenges
The challenge was to divide the bridge into smaller manipulable parts due to the application of paint systems.
What made the project successful
The project was successful because the software also allows 5 designers to cooperate on one project at a time.
