Tekla Student Ambassador Program launched in Finland
A Tekla Student Ambassadors Program (TSAP) was launched in August within two Finnish universities. Read more about TSAP here.
For the academic year 2019-2020, six students from Aalto University and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences have been selected by Trimble as our very first Tekla Student Ambassadors (TSAs) representing their universities. All TSAs are currently studying in the building technology areas.
At the start of the semester, a TSA kickoff meeting was organized to share goals of the program and to plan for the coming academic year. Students received Trimble Tekla TSAP hoodies, travel bags, coffee mugs, and more.
Included in the kickoff was an intensive training program held at Trimble’s Tekla HQ office in Espoo, Finland. TSAs already have basic knowledge of Tekla Structures, but got a deep dive into BIM workflows with Tekla. They also learned about other Trimble products such as Trimble Connect, Tekla Structural Designer and Tekla Tedds, and had a live demo on AR & VR with hands-on sessions.
Together with Tekla Student Ambassadors, Trimble is helping students to become more aware of Tekla’s award-winning software.
Finland’s TSAP was modeled after our first TSAP in Swedish. Learn more about Sweden’s TSAP.
