Using Tekla Tedds Batch Design
This video demonstrates using Tekla Tedds for batch design. In the Excel work book the library and item name of the calculation to be used (Bearing pressures for rectangular footings) are entered and then the input and output variables for the calculation are defined on a new work sheet. Firstly a single design case is defined and the calculations normal user interface is shown. Then five additional design cases are defined and the batch design is run with the calculations user interface hidden. For each design case the output results are returned to the work book and if required to Tekla Tedds for Word. This spreadsheet can be used to batch design any Tedds structural design calculation.
