The project is a 7-storey Polyclinic & Senior Care Centre with Basement Carpark On Lot 01964K MK 19 At Yishun Avenue 9 / Yishun Central. As a precast manufacturer, we are supplying 410m3 of precast columns, 475m3 of precast beams, 460m3 of precast walls with ledge and fin, 44m3 of precast staircases flights and 4764m2 of precast non-prestressed planks.
With the use of BIM in this project, errors and clashes can be easily identified and extraction of drawings can be done efficiently. Being able to identify the elements if they were to be different if drafter may not have noticed and by comparing our preliminary marking in Tekla Structures was essential.
This model was built also as a guide to help us in identifying the clashes which were detected. Elements cast unit drawings were extracted fast once the model was setup with just some fine tuning and adjustments. The cloning of the cast unit drawings also helps to expedite the drawings so that the whole structure, especially the connections at the beams-column joints areas and the linkage between the different components can be view as a whole.
