LKP Consultants & Associates Pte Ltd is a building and structural design consultancy firm set up in 2017.

The company aims to provide design and consultancy services to the customers who wish to upgrade their residential, industrial or institutional properties through building works. It stresses customer service, quality works, technical supports, competitive prices, and after-sale service.

The company office is located at Toa Payoh near Braddell MRT station.

The role:

Civil & Structural Design Engineer

The design engineer is assigned a list of civil and structural engineering projects to work on. Orientation and guidance will be provided at the initial stage.

Primarily the projects would be low-rise building construction projects where structural analysis and design are required. They could be addition and alteration, reconstruction, or new erection of residential, industrial, or institutional buildings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Structural design with the help of structural design software packages like StaadPro and Tekla Structural Designer, with training to be provided if required;
  • Drafting works supported by Autodesk Revit software and AutoCAD drafting software, with training to be provided if required;
  • Submission of the proposed plans to the building and construction authority BCA through CoreNet, and following up till approval is obtained;
  • Preparation of plans for the building, fire safety, and environmental works with further training, submission of plans to the various authorities.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;
  • Structural analysis and design experience using software like StaadPro, Tekla Structural Design, Tekla TEDD, etc;
  • Computer drafting experience using software like AutoCad, Autodesk Revit, etc;
  • Able to meet deadlines, have excellent attention to details, be organised and self-motivated;
  • Minimum 2-year experience in structural design office.

Working hours:

  • 5 days (Monday to Friday) per week, 9am to 6pm with lunch time 12pm to 1pm.
