Ian Struthers, UK Product Manager - Tekla PowerFab

Ian has over 15 years experience working with steel fabricators of all shapes and sizes all over the world, helping them to maximise the value of 3D models by utilising technology to digitise their fabrication workflows. Ian joined Trimble in 2019 from one of the UK’s largest and most respected steel fabricators and has taken a pivotal role in the introduction of Tekla PowerFab to the UK region.

Matt Hastwell, Senior Draughtsman at Wareing Buildings

Matt joined the Wareing Buildings team in 2002 on a work experience placement and has since established his position in the company as the driving force behind its digital revolution. Highly experienced in the use of 3D technology to develop design concepts, visualisations and drawings for its steel fabrication services, Matt has been passionate about introducing digital innovations to Wareing Buildings to ensure it retains its position as the industry leader. As a key player in the company’s Business Digitisation Team – set up to identify, design and research key areas the firm can embrace digital technology – Matt has been instrumental in introducing Trimble’s Tekla Powerfab suite to staff, which will enable the company to achieve a 10 per cent productivity gain.
