17Fifty Reston Tower Center

This 17-story, 396,000 sf office building features 8,000 sf of retail space, terraces, and rooftop greenspace. The existing office building was demolished and replaced with four below- grade levels of parking for over 230 vehicles. The structure has mild steel reinforcement on level one and post-tensioned reinforcement on floors two through the penthouse level. The project is designed for LEED Gold Certification. Additionally, the building contains a central plant responsible for controlling multiple buildings. We provided the cast in place concrete and rebar 3D model in Tekla Structures, as well as PDF shop drawings created directly from the model. Fabrication barlists were exported directly from the model to aSA format for the fabricator.
