City Ridge - 3900 Wisconsin Ave
Revamping the historic Fannie Mae headquarters into the City’s first Wegmans was just the beginning of this beautiful nearly 10-acre redevelopment. This 9,500-ton reinforced concrete project is a stunning showcase in engineering and construction. Containing underground parking under what is essentially a city block above, with “652 residential units, a 150 key hotel, 153,000 sq.ft. of retail space and 62,000 sq. ft. of office space” (not to mention all the rooftop entertainment) it is surely something to see. We worked closely with the concrete contractor, Schuster Concrete Construction, on Turing this project of well over 5000 design sheets (arch, civil, structural etc) into a standing structure. We provided the rebar and rebar placing drawings to construct this massive project. Over 1,800 bar lists and 1,600 drawings issued for construction from Tekla. This project is one to surely remember.
