One of seven residential apartments being constructed in City West, Dublin.
Challenges for this project have been ensuring the project is fit to run through the newly operational and one of the most advanced precast facilities in the world. There's also been a huge sense of pride in that we as PUNCH precast having only been formed 12 months ago have risen to and met this challenge wholly, managing to feed over 2000m2 of precast units through the factory on a weekly basis.
Tekla and Trimble have offered a complete solution for communicating data through Trimble Connect and Tekla Model Sharing with designers and detailers present in various satellite offices, not to mention the precast export tool which has allowed export directly from the model environment to the production environment through PXML. Tekla Structures also ensures BIM coordination of the model is in accordance with IS EN 19650 and in keeping with PUNCH's NSAI BIM Level 2 accreditation.
